Volunteer
Show up for a kid. That is the whole job.
We welcome volunteers aged sixteen or older. No prior experience is needed. Weekday afterschool roles, Friday Hang, robotics, camp help, and more.
Every volunteer age 18 or older must be cleared through a Live Scan background check before working one-on-one with students. Start with the interest form below, or read the full roles and steps on the volunteer page.

Church partners
Local churches, one community's youth.
Hope Horizon was born out of the church, and our church partners are family. Over the past few years we've partnered with local churches and organizations. Together we provide mentorship, prayer, volunteers, and a network of care that no single congregation could offer alone.

The students in our robotics programs live minutes from some of the most valuable companies on earth, and Hope Horizon is how they get in. You can change that. A corporate partnership funds the competition robotics team in East Palo Alto and the pipeline of first-generation engineers behind it.
We'll work with you on a partnership that has visible, reportable impact, the kind your team and your community relations story can stand behind.
The pipeline you would fund: FIRST LEGO League (grades 1 to 4 and grades 5 to 8), and the Churrobots FRC team in high school, moving first-generation students toward college and engineering careers.
