Partners & Supporters

It takes a village, and the partners who build it.

For 40 years, churches, companies, foundations, and neighbors have stood with East Palo Alto's young people. Their names belong on this work as much as ours. Here are some of the partners who make it possible.

Hope Horizon students and community

With gratitude

Foundations and institutions investing in EPA.

Grants and institutional gifts fund the tutors, the robotics seasons, and the scholarships. We are grateful for the partners who back this work year after year.

Church partners

Born out of the church. Still rooted there.

Hope Horizon began in 1984 when a handful of Stanford students and local congregations decided East Palo Alto's children deserved someone in their corner. Four decades later, local churches and ministries still stand with us, sending volunteers, prayer, meeting space, and a network of care no single congregation could offer alone.

Partner your church

Send a team

Tutors, mentors, and event volunteers from your congregation.

Adopt a program

Underwrite a tutoring cohort, a robotics season, or a week of camp.

Pray and partner

Join a community of churches committed to this neighborhood for the long haul.

Corporate partners

Fund the local STEM talent the Bay Area keeps asking for.

Our students live minutes from some of the most valuable companies on earth, and Hope Horizon is how they get in. A corporate partnership funds the competition robotics team in East Palo Alto and the pipeline of first-generation engineers behind it.

Sponsor a season

Underwrite the FRC robotics team, a camp week, or a scholarship cohort, with your name on it.

Match your team's gifts

Double your employees' giving and turn a workplace into a force for EPA's youth.

Send mentors

Loan your engineers and professionals as mentors, judges, and guest speakers.

Build a corporate partnership

Our donors

The people behind every open door.

Hundreds of individuals give so that a kid in East Palo Alto has a tutor, a mentor, and a shot at college. Some give for decades. Some give quietly. We honor both.

Founders' Circle
Supporters who have given faithfully for 10 years or more, the backbone of four decades of this work.
Open Door Circle
Leadership donors whose gifts fund full scholarships, robotics seasons, and program staff.
Neighbors & Friends
Monthly and annual givers across the Bay Area who keep our doors open all year.

We list donors who wish to be recognized, and we gladly keep gifts anonymous for those who prefer it. To be added, updated, or kept private, just let us know.
