The gap we close
Give our students the opportunity, and they rise to it.
In our local district, about 1 in 8 students met state English standards last school year. That is where many of our kids start. Over the school year, 80% of Hope Horizon students improved their reading.

This is East Palo Alto's team, and its pride.
Our elementary and middle school robotics pathway runs alongside it, so more local kids can build toward it.
Years, not seasons
We don't meet kids for a season. We walk with them for years.
The same neighborhood, the same caring adults, from a first reading group to a college send-off, and often back again to lead.
Grades TK–2
Learns to read
One-on-one reading help, four afternoons a week, until it finally clicks.
Grades 3–5
Finds their thing
Robotics, summer camp, and a mentor who shows up.
