In a district where about 1 in 8 students meet state reading standards, that's not a small thing. It's the whole thing. Afterschool tutoring, homework help, and enrichment four days a week, with one-on-one reading support in TK–3.

TK through 8th grade, our tutors work with the students who need it most, and our youngest readers, TK through third, get one-on-one support. 80% of our students improve their reading over the school year, in a district where about 1 in 8 students meet state reading standards.
What a day looks like
Homework first, then the good stuff.
Students arrive after school to homework help, outdoor play, and academic enrichment. Our youngest, TK through third grade, get one-on-one reading support built around the fundamentals: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. The kind of focused attention that's hard to get in a classroom of thirty.
