Our Work · Robotics
East Palo Alto's competition robotics team.
The Churrobots are East Palo Alto's competition robotics team, and they're part of the Hope Horizon family. Our elementary and middle school robotics pathway helps local kids grow toward it.

A Churrobots story
They earned a spot at Worlds, and the community paid for it.
For the first time since the team was founded, East Palo Alto's Churrobots, FRC team 8048, earned a spot at the FIRST Robotics World Championships in Houston, and the community fully funded the trip.
The team, and what's next
The Churrobots today, and our robotics pathway.

FIRST LEGO League
Real programming and teamwork, the bridge toward the competition team.

Hands-on STEM where kids first realize they're good at this. Part of our elementary and middle school robotics pathway.
For corporate & tech funders
Help us build the local STEM talent the Bay Area keeps asking for.
The students on this team live ten minutes from some of the most valuable tech companies on earth, and Hope Horizon is how they get in. Robotics is the way in. Your company can fund the program that turns local kids into engineers.
