During the 2020 off season, our team worked on creating their own mini robots that were raced on a racetrack. During the build, there were two phases. In the first, students built their robot chassis using items found at home, such as cardboard and containers. During the second phase, students had to option to CAD the chassis and get it 3D printed. Weekly meetings were held on Zoom to check in and for students to receive feedback and help with their CAD. Students were also able to edit coding to make the microcontrollers light up, emit sound, and to change the robots speed.
