The Churrobots are East Palo Alto's competition robotics team, and they're part of the Hope Horizon family. Our elementary and middle school robotics pathway helps local kids grow toward it.

A Churrobots story

They earned a spot at Worlds, and the community paid for it.

For the first time since the team was founded, East Palo Alto's Churrobots, FRC team 8048, earned a spot at the FIRST Robotics World Championships in Houston, and the community fully funded the trip.

    East Palo Alto's First Robotics Competition team, and it's part of the Hope Horizon family. Student-led, with off-season workshops that point teens toward careers in tech.

  2. Grades 5–8 · starts October

    Real programming and teamwork, the bridge toward the competition team.

    FIRST LEGO League

    Hands-on STEM where kids first realize they're good at this. Part of our elementary and middle school robotics pathway.
