
Hope horizon Open Door scholarship Fund
Empowering East Palo Alto and East Menlo Park youth to pursue higher education and to encourage community involvement, volunteerism and ministry involvement by students during their college years.

Purpose of the Scholarship Program:

To encourage and assist east-of-Bayshore youth in pursuit of higher education

To encourage community involvement, volunteerism and ministry involvement by students during their college years

Eligibility Requirements:

Applicants must be either current high school seniors or students attending college, junior college, or trade school in 2026.

(College applicants) Attendance at an accredited college, junior college, university, trade school, or approved Bible school/mission training program

GPA 2.5 or higher
-
East Palo Alto residency is not a strict requirement, but priority may be given to students from the area.

Application Materials:

Demonstrated leadership and service in their church, community, or campus organizations

Demonstrated financial hardship
Amount of award will vary in range. We expect to give out 5-10 scholarships. Funding priority will be given to students who have:
