More information

Host a Table
One of the main goals of our Gala is to expand our reach. Help us by hosting a table and inviting friends and family that are new to Hope Horizon. Hosts commit to filling a table of 10, including themselves. The goal is to share Hope Horizon East Palo Alto with new people so that we might expand our reach and our family. â€‹

Sponsor a Table
Another goal is that every dollar we raise at the Gala would go directly to our programs. In order to make sure every dollar goes directly to our kids, we hope to have full sponsorship of the event before March 9th. Some hosts choose to host and sponsor, but these are separate commitments. To sponsor a full table it is $1200, but sponsorship of any amount is welcomed. â€‹

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What to expect?
Starting at 4pm, we will have an exciting Pre-Event: Auction, Art and Expo. There will be fun, interactive experiences to engage in; a silent auction; student art exhibit and much more. Come and learn about our programs, students and organization.

The Pre-Event will be followed by a sit-down dinner and program to showcase Hope Horizon East Palo Alto's mission and vision. Get to know our students, our work and our impact. Enjoy re-connecting with friends and make new connections.

  • Can I bring  my children?
We would love for you to have focused time with the other lovely guests attending. We believe your children will have a much better time at home with friends or family. We are Hope Horizon - so we are never going to say NO to children. But we think you and your guests will enjoy their time children free for the evening. We highly encourage making arrangements for children not to attend.

  • What's the dress code?
Please wear what is comfortable for you and feel free to come business casual, semi-formal or formal.

  • What will be the COVID policy?
The Gala will be mask optional. There will be over 300 people attending, so we do recommend wearing your mask if that makes you feel more comfortable.
We are asking all guests to please be respectful of all our guests and to stay home if they are experiencing one or more of these symptoms within the past 3 days: fever or chills, cough, loss of taste or smell, shortness of breath/trouble breathing; or new or unexplained fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, sore throat, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. Your health and safety are our priority. Since this is a large event, we recommend that guests take a covid test, if possible, before attending the gala. This is not a requirement, but the more people that take a test, the more people will feel safer.

  • I can’t come, but would like to donate to the event. How can I do this?
Thank you for your generosity! You can donate here.
